So far the app still works great with an IPhone 12 Pro only issue I’m having is using the app to sign into google to live stream or backup photos

Please update the app! This camera is still usable and takes good enough photos but the app is useless. THANK YOU!

This app does NOT connect wirelessly to my HTC RE camera. I am using a brand new iPhone 12. I have tried all the troubleshooting solutions provided and NOTHING. I had no issues with my old Android Samsung Galaxy S8. Is there an app update? Is the wireless on the camera bad? Please fix!!!!

Great camera, got software abandoned by HTC

I understand it need the WiFi to connect but after I connected to the WiFi and go back to the app, it just keep looping and waiting! I hope you guys can fix this issue. I try factory reset but it did not help! Please test it and give us the easy way to connect! Thanks!

I bought one specifically for livestream functionality and when I try to log in with google to use it, it says “app temporarily disabled”.

Works fine for me!

Update (see below) - My hTC re will NOT connect since the iOS 13 update. My camera no longer works! Please fix this connection issue!!!! Updated to the latest firmware and got my Re to work, BUT it took several steps. Had to delete my iPhone app, perform a factory reset on the Re (press button next to SD card and shutter release at the same time for 3 seconds). Reinstall the app on my iPhone, then go thru the steps as a ‘new’ device. The 1st attempt failed, but subsequent attempts were successful. I wish you luck if you have an issue like I did!

I tried the latest software update and still can’t connect to the RE Camera to download pictures and videos.

I love my RE. I use it all the time;however, since a few days ago I can’t save any file to phone. I wonder if anyone else is having this issue.

What a disappointment. Software not updated to iOS so won’t connect to iPhone. Seriously makes the device nearly worthless. Never buying an htc product again.

Hi, I’m a software developer. If y’all can’t update this, can you at least outsource it to someone who will? I’d be more than willing. My camera’s functionality is obsolete until this is remedied. Can not connect to the camera’s WiFi. Will update my review if an update is released.

Is HTC going to update any new firmware for this device any time soon

Too bad, it worked perfectly with previous iOS. But not with the last version. HTC says that I need to call Apple!! unbelievable. 👎🏼

It’s just so annoying that the app and htc Re are not connecting. May you guys quickly update the software!

Ever since I updated to iOS 13 it just doesn’t connect to the app. The camera easily connects through WiFi but the app don’t detect it. Please update for iOS 13

It’s basically a paper weight. It won’t reset and no one at HTC knows anything about it. It’s just been orphaned. It was a waste of money from day 1.

Looks like Htc is behind updating the app. Does not work anymore. Can't sync to my device.

The app's ability to sync photos to Google drive stopped working because the authentication method expired and no one at HTC updated the app. It's not surprising, since there have been no firmware or security patches for the RE in years. It's sad because the RE is a decent little camera....But HTC isn't as serious about ongoing support as, say, GoPro, so that's a hidden cost of the product.

Like the title says. Useless. Thank God I also use Android in my household.

I can't connect and it keep on say no wifi connection and the wifi doesn't appare. Don't buy this product until they resolve this issue.

Not connecting to phone. HTC needs to come up with an update ASAP!!

You should release new update for this app on iPhone 6s, because this app crash when I tap on the icon and I want to see the live view from Re on my mobile. (Sorry for english)

Does not connect, I'm running iOS 10.3 and I am connected to my Re via wifi, but the app will not see it.

Stuck at loading screen trying to connect

I received the Re at Christmas and I can't sync with my iPhone 6s with iOS 10.2 version. I had called HTC and the customer service told me on the phone I should call Apple not HTC. It is unbelievable. So, saying that I ask. How long it will take until you have fixed the compatibility with iOS 10.2 version? Thank you and waiting for a solution. Alessandra

The Re and the companion app provide a terrific set of tools & options. I especially love the time lapse capabilities, especially since it 'instantly' GENERATES the time lapse movie without further editing with other software. Recent update fixes IOS 10 compatibility.

I am so glad HTC fixed the iOS 10 problem. Now I can view my photos and videos. Thank you HTC.

Please fix. Not working at all wifi connection

Used to work Great, I am assuming HTC has abandoned support for this device or apple has let it slip thru the cracks as it no longer works with the iOS 10 update

Will you be updating this app soon? The wifi connection is not working with the new iOS 10. Having the camera does not work if we can't stream our pics in our phone when we need them. Any updates on your end? It would be nice for those of us that own this camera to know if it's time to get rid of it.

Wonderful before iOS 10 update, now will not sync. Please update so I can improve rating. Beware developers, utilizing particular hard ware for your devices put you at risk of the hardware changes such as The low power BT in the Iphone.

Guys... time to update the app for iOS 10 please. Good product and now very cumbersome to deal without the app working! Tic toc....

As we know this doesn't work with iOS 10. I really enjoy this product but see it hasn't been updated since July 2015. Have we given up on this product? Are we looking to update it? I enjoy how it syncs to my phone to allow me to share with social media. I believe we still can transfer info to a computer with a memory card but feel this will eventually mess with its water integrity. Concerned

They knew the iOS 10 was coming and should have been prepared for the update of the app... my camera has been useless for almost a week now..... extremely frustrated

When is this getting an upgrade

Like everyone else who upgraded to IOS 10, RE will not pair with phone anymore. Please fix this problem, love the cam & app when it worked!!!

Good piece to have but no wifi connection with the new OS 10 on iPhone 6plus. Also to many steps to get it connected when using to sync app with iPhone. But taking pictures without the app is really cool and the images come out fantastic.

I know there's quite a few reviews about this issue already... but please update this app so it will work on iOS 10!!! Won't connect to device wifi anymore!!!!!!

After I upgraded my phone to an iPhone 7 with iOS 10 I can no longer get my app to sync with the recam wifi. Please, I use the camera daily, update your app to iOS compatibility.
